The Dublin Convention and Visitors Bureau encourages you to celebrate Half-Way to St. Patrick’s Day on September 17, 2011. This holiday is not nationally recognized, but we love St. Patrick’s Day so much that we just have to share the news.
In fact, according to US News & World Report, Dublin was chosen in the Top 10 Best St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and Parade in America, right along with New York, Chicago and Boston.
That’s a lot of Irish Attitude. And we can’t wait till March 2012!
St. Patrick’s Day Fun Fact: St. Patrick himself used the shamrock to explain the Trinity, and that is why the shamrock has been associated with him and the Irish since that time. The Dublin CVB proudly dots our “I” with a shamrock in our logo and Central Ohio is proud to have a great Shamrock Club.
The Shamrock Club of Columbus knows how to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day – twice a year. On Saturday, September 17, 2011, they will be celebrating Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day at their Columbus location.
