Spring is finally here and the weather is beautiful………just the time to get outdoors and start working off all that extra winter poundage. Dublin (OH) offers 88 miles of bike paths and 1,500 acres of parkland to enjoy walking, biking or just wandering and exploring. What fun to walk through parks, wooded areas and river frontage looking for all the spring buds coming alive.
Enjoy the Dublin Arts Council's Art in Public Places in many of the parks. For the adventurous, walk to the beautiful Indian Run Falls (park at the Dublin Post Office on Shawan Falls Drive) or go to the O’Shaughnessy Dam, walk down to the bottom and look up at the huge structure. Awe-inspiring! The Dublin Kiwanis Riverway Park (off Bridge Street and Riverside Drive) is home to the Dublin Spring and walkway along the Scioto River. (Be sure to wear your boots!) So dust off that bike or those walking shoes and get moving.
