Wander through Downtown Dublin from the water! Every Wednesday in August, the Historic Business Association is sponsoring free kayak rides. Sunrise Kayaks will provide kayaks, paddles, and life jackets to visitors at no charge. Paddle from Dublin Springs Park to the Dublin Link and back while experiencing the natural beauty in downtown. Make an evening out of it by visiting one of the many retailers or grabbing dinner in one of the fantastic restaurants in Historic Dublin. Sundays at Scioto   

Every Sunday at Scioto Park – 5 pm – FREE 

Gather your family and pack up your lawn chairs! Sundays at Scioto are back and ready to highlight top local and regional performing artists for every musical genre. From Latin jazz to big band swing and traditional Celtic music to country rock, there’s something for everyone in this year’s line-up.

Emerald City Half & Quarter Marathon   

August 22, Downtown Dublin – 7 am   

Runners, joggers and walkers unite! The OhioHealth Emerald City Half & Quarter Marathon will take place at the end of the month and has a brand-new route through Downtown Dublin.  This race is perfect for everyone, no matter the fitness level. All participants will receive an event shirt, finishers medal, and free engraving. Celebrate finishing this fitness feat at the free post-race party in Bridge Park! Arthritis Auto Show & Cruise-In    

August 20-21, Metro Place 

Wander among 1,000 street rods and classic cars at the 38th Annual Arthritis Foundation Classic Auto Show and Cruise-In. The two-day event in Dublin’s Metro Center Business Park features classic cars, live entertainment, food and fun.  Pull up and purchase tickets here.

Tune in every Saturday for live music in one of the many pocket parks or support some of Dublin’s small businesses at the Dublin Market. Grab something to eat and a seat on the street at one of several expanded outdoor dining areas. Don’t forget to take advantage of DORA and get every last sip of summer while strolling through Downtown Dublin with your beverage of choice in hand.
