Dublin Irish Days presented by Dublin Irish Festival are right around the corner! While it may look a little different this year, we guarantee that Irish spirit will be celebrated loud and proud, August 4 – August 8.

Here’s what you need to know about this twist on our traditional Dublin Irish Festival.

At Coffman Park

Theater Performances: August 4 – August 8 at 6:00 PM 

Brand new to Dublin Irish Days, the Abbey Theater of Dublin presents the musical “The Irish…and How They Got That Way.” This Off-Broadway musical, written by Frank McCourt, features an eclectic mix of Irish music featuring the traditional “Danny Boy” to U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” Pack your cooler and head to Coffman Park to enjoy a story of the tumultuous times of the past century with vibrant humor!

Live Entertainment: August 6 – August 8

Enjoy some of your festival favorites with live Irish entertainment at Coffman Park. Gates open 30 minutes before showtime, so head over early with lawn chairs in tow, grab something to eat, and prepare for a fantastic show that will light up your Irish spirit!

Performers include Gaelic Storm, Seven Nations, Eileen Ives, Scythian and many more.

Dublin Irish Festival 5K: August 5 at 7:00 PM 

In festival tradition, the Dublin Irish Festival 5K Run and Walk presented by IGS Energy will kick things off in Historic Dublin. Participants may choose to race in person or virtually. The Kids Dash will not take place this year, but there will be plenty of entertainment for the Wee Folk throughout Dublin Irish Days. Plus, participants of all ages are welcome to take part virtually.

Downtown Dublin Dubcrawl presented by Jamerson Irish Whiskey: August 5 – August 8

This year, the Dubcrawl in Downtown Dublin will last for four days! Merchants and restaurants will be offering Irish Specials, entertainment, and DORA hours will be extended.

Stop by the Darby Street Marketplace to pick up unique Irish goods or gather your family and spend some time at the Wee Folk Pavilion. Make sure to stay on the lookout for local Irish musicians and dancers on the many outdoor stages or inside the local pubs during the 4-day event.

Irish Faerie Door Trail: August 2-8

Hunt for Irish Faerie Doors during Dublin Irish Days presented by Dublin Irish Festival. The Irish Faerie Trail will be ready for action Monday, August 2 – Sunday, August 8! Grad a passport and hunt for 14 magical faerie doors and their resident faeries. Record the name of each Irish Faerie on your passport and return your completed passport to the Dublin Visitor & Information Center for a FREE Faerie Wand!
