A Co-Production between the Abbey Theater of Dublin and OPT
Over the years, John Huston and Gregory Peck have talked about the filming on the Irish Sea for the film Moby Dick. Rumors suggest the company lost as many as three rubber white whales; the assumption being that the special effects people built complete 60-foot leviathans from head to fin. This world premiere play creates a fictious account of what took place amongst the locals, actors, and the film crew while on location in Youghal, County Cork, Ireland.
