The annual OhioHealth Emerald City Half & Quarter Marathon is a signature Dublin event, put on by M3S Sports. The half (13.1 miles) and quarter (6.55 miles) is open to runners and walkers alike, and benefits the Welcome Warehouse, a Dublin-based charity that provides opportunities, goods and services to those in need. Typically in late August, the half and quarter marathons provide the perfect training run for those preparing for full and half marathons in the fall. All runners and walkers receive an Official Finisher's Medal, a gender-specific shirt, and post-race refreshments.
