The City of Dublin is committed to the safety of our residents and guests as Dublin businesses re-open. Below are guidelines created by the State of Ohio to ensure the health and safety of the community.

Know Before You Go: 


Hotels 

Open 

State Protocols Include: 

  • All customers and staff must follow CDC social distancing guidelines
  • All staff must wear face masks while in the hotel
  • Regular hand washing or sanitizing for employees
  • Cleaning and disinfecting of communal areas, elevators, public spaces and other high-touch areas
  • Reduced food and beverage contact 
  • Signage with health and hygiene reminders
  • No housekeeping during stay unless specifically requested 
  • Contactless check-in/check-out, payment processes when available 
  • Self-parking options

Retail

State Protocols Include: 

  • Stores will disinfect and sanitize throughout the day and overnight
  • All customers and staff must follow CDC social distancing guidelines
  • All staff must wear face masks while in the store
  • Customers must wear face masks while in the store
  • Staff will perform daily symptom assessment
  • Hand sanitizer available to guests
  • Staggered entry of customers during high traffic times
  • Many retailers offer online or virtual shopping with curbside pickup or delivery for customers who are not comfortable shopping in-store

Restaurants & Bars 

Open May 21

State Protocols Include: 

  • Ensure a minimum of six feet between parties waiting and when dining - if not possible, utilize barriers or other protective devices
  • All staff must wear face masks while in the restaurant 
  • All guest must wear face masks when entering and moving around the restaurant - Not required while seated
  • Post a list of COVID-19 symptoms in a conspicuous place
  • Ask customers and guests not to enter if symptomatic
  • Provide access to hand washing methods while in the food service establishment, and if possible, place approved hand washing/sanitizing products in high-contact areas
  • Food service establishments offering dine-in service must take affirmative steps with customers to achieve safe social distancing guidelines

Attractions & Entertainment Businesses

Open June 10

State Protocols Include:

  • Ensure a minimum of six feet between customers or barriers between groups
  • Specify hours for at-risk populations (e.g. elderly)
  • Place hand sanitizer in high-contact locations
  • All staff and guests must wear masks while indoors
  • Ask customers and guests not to enter if symptomatic
  • Stagger entry of customers and guests
  • Discontinue self-service food stations, product samples

Spas & Salons

Open May 15

State Protocols Include:

  • Ensure minimum of six feet between customers
  • Social distancing will apply with the exception that the distance between the client and employee may be less than six feet
  • Specify hours for at-risk populations (e.g. elderly)
  • All staff and customers must wear face mask
  • Place hand sanitizers in high-contact locations
  • Ask customers and guests not to enter if symptomatic
  • Stagger entry of customers and guests
  • Only clients will be allowed in the establishment for their service; unless client must be accompanied by a caregiver

Parks & Outdoors

Open

State Protocols Include: 

  • Practice safe social distancing of at least six feet in all areas of parks and trails.
  • Follow CDC guidelines regarding personal hygiene before visiting public areas. 
  • Do not use the park if you are feeling unwell or have a temperature. 
  • If an area of the park or trial is already crowded, explore another area. 
  • You may experience limited access to public restrooms and water fountains.
