Summer Events in Dublin

Dublin is home to a variety of summer events to fulfill any interest. Our quaint town has everything from sports to slider challenges making for the perfect time spent with friends and family. Don't miss these great events scattered throughout the summer months in the city with Irish Attitude. 

The Memorial Tournament- Experience golf at its' finest during the Memorial Tournament! See the top PGA professionals play on golf legend Jack Nicklaus's course for an action-packed week from 5/30 through 6/5. Monday - Wednesday are practice rounds and Thursday - Sunday is tournament play. Purchase tickets here

Brazenhead Live Irish Music- Get the full Irish experience in the town with Irish Attitude starting 6/9 every Thursday through 8/11. Irish-style music will be played on the patio from 7-9pm. Don't miss this Irish Approved event!

Zoofari 2016- Enjoy a wild, adults-only night at Columbus Zoo & Aquarium's Zoofari presented by Nationwide Insurance. Guests "graze" their way through The Zoo while enjoying live entertainment, signature dishes and specialty drinks scattered throughout The Zoo grounds. Purchase tickets here.

Annual Kiwanis Frog Jump & Festival- More than 5,000 participants and spectators come out to attend the fun at Dublin's longest running event on 6/25. Loads of prizes are available as well as inflatables, food vendors and some quality time spent outside. Frog races begin at 10am and the final qualifying race will start at 2:30pm. Grab your frog and head over to Coffman Park for this annual event!

Emerald City Games: A local stop on the Drum Corps International's Summer Music Games Tour, the event will feature several of the world's top drum and bugle corps in a late season competition just weeks from the World Championships.

Independence Day Parade & Celebration- Celebrate your freedom in Dublin on the 4th of July! Festivities start at 8am with the annual Sherm Sheldon Fishing Derby, the inflation celebration at 9am and the Independence Day Parade kicking off at 11am. But that's not all, stick around town for live music all day leading up to Joan Jett and KC and The Sunshine Band! Fireworks show starts at 9:50pm at Dublin Coffman High School Stadium.

Arthritis Foundation Auto Show- Car enthusiasts and spectators from across the Midwest come together to wander among 1,500 street rods and classic cars. Don't miss this popular annual fundraiser that takes place in Dublin's Metro Center Business Park 7/7 - 7/9. Come and enjoy food, drinks, live music & great cars! Purchase tickets here

Historic Dublin's Slider Challenge- Head to Historic Dublin for the 3rd annual Slider Challenge. Bring the whole family to be judges of 6 restaurants offering up their best slider! The Slider Challenge is from 5 - 7pm on 7/9.

National Volleyball League- Flannagan's will be hosting professional beach volleyball players partaking in the National Volleyball League National Qualifier and Finals events. Enjoy 13 beach volleyball courts, a Vegas-style swim up pool bar and a 6,000 sq. ft. sports bar 7/14 - 7/16. 


Irish Festival 5K & Dub Crawl- Celebrate the start of the Irish Festival with a 5K in Historic Dublin. Whether you're a runner, walker or spectator wear your green and get set for a weekend's worth of Irish Attitude. All participants receive a complimentary one-day adult admission ticket with registration purchase. The race begins 8/4 from 7 - 11pm.

Dublin Irish Festival- Join Dublin for the largest three-day Irish Festival in the world. Research your genealogy, shop the marketplace for imported and handmade goods and even mingle with Irish dog breeds. Emerald City Half & Quarter Marathon- End your summer with plenty of Irish Attitude stretching 6,000 ft. and more than 13 miles. On 8/28, M3S Sports host the Emerald City Half & Quarter Marathon to both local and visiting runners and walkers in Dublin.
