On the 4th of July we trade in our green and shamrocks for the stars and stripes! Check out everything you need to know about celebrating Independence Day in Dublin.

8:00 a.m. - Annual Sherm Sheldon Fishing Derby

Bring your fishing pole to the Dublin Community Recreation Center pond for some good ol’ fishin’ fun.

9:30 a.m. - Inflation Celebration at Graeter’s Ice Cream

Head to Metro Place Graeter’s Ice Cream to watch the inflatables take shape and come to life before the parade starts.

11 a.m. -  Parade in Historic Dublin

Look for giant inflatables, stilt walkers, dancers, marching bands and more during the Independence Day parade. Bring your chair and blanket to get the best spots early in the day.

4:30 p.m. - Evening Celebration Gates Open & Live Entertainment from Doc Robinson & Sheryl Crow @ Coffman High School

Live music and entertainment leading up to the headliner performance from Doc Robinson and headliner, Sheryl Crow.

9:50p.m. - Fireworks

Cap off the night with the ultimate 4th of July tradition!

TIPS:

  • Residents can purchase general admission stadium wristbands for $5 at the Dublin Community Recreation Center.
  • Unsold stadium wristbands will be free to the general public and available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 10 a.m. at Dublin Coffman High School.
