Riverboxes™ are artist-created vessels that are inspired by the hobbies of letterboxing and geocaching which combine map-reading or GPS skills and artistic pursuit with delightful ‘treasure hunts’ in beautiful, scenic places.
Art Boxes
ARTboxes look like “little libraries” and include free grab-and-go art activities for all ages and experience levels. Creative prompts and materials rotate seasonally and can be found around Dublin all year long.
Dublin Arts Council Gallery
Dublin Arts Council hosts a year-round Visual Arts Series of gallery exhibitions by local, regional and international artists. While you’re there visit 4 Public Artworks and 2 Riverboxes. Parking and admission are free.
The Abbey Theater
The Abbey Theater offers year-round performances and entertainment at an affordable cost. The theater seats 200 and provides an intimate experience for the whole family.
