When can I do the Irish Fairy Door Trail?

The trail is a year-round experience that is re-launched every St. Patrick's Day with new t-shirts, doors, and stops. We recommend checking participating business hours prior to going on the trail and recommend Tuesday-Saturday, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. 

Where can I get my Irish Fairy Door Trail of Dublin Trail Guide?

Guides are available online here, or can be picked up in person at the Dublin Visitor & Information Center at 9 S. High St. in Historic Dublin. The center is open 365 days per year, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Which local businesses in Dublin participate in the trail?

Are all of the participating locations family-friendly?

Yes, all fairy door locations are family-friendly.

What is the recommended age range for this trail?

Because the Fairy Door Trail consists of many interesting shops in Downtown Dublin, the trail appeals to all ages.

How long does it take to complete the trail?

The trail locations are all within Downtown Dublin, so actual trail time is short, but you may want to allow extra time for shopping, snacking and sight-seeing along the way.

What if my trail guide is missing one of the fairy names because one of the businesses was closed?

Trail guides must be fully completed to be eligible for the T-shirt prize. Please check the hours of operation for all participating locations in advance.

Can each member of our family or group complete the trail and redeem it for a T-shirt?

Yes, all family members are permitted to complete the passport and redeem for a T-Shirt.

Can I bring in someone else’s completed trail guide and pick up their shirt?


Can I redeem my shirt by mail?

Yes, just mail your completed guide, including your shirt size, to Dublin Convention & Visitors Bureau, 9 S. High St., Dublin, OH 43017.

What is the deadline for turning in my completed guide?

There is no deadline, but T-shirt supplies may be limited.
