Summer in Dublin means one thing: patio season is officially in full swing. Whether you're chasing rooftop sunsets, sneaking out for happy hour, or planning a girls' night that starts with appetizers and ends with "just one more round," we've got you covered. We rounded up five drinks across town that are basically required tasting this summer, local-favorite spots, a little something for every mood, and zero passport required. Here's where to start.
Roosevelt Room - The Ketel Hill

Moody lighting, a mounted moose, and a "speak softly and carry a stiff drink" attitude, The Roosevelt Room is Bridge Park's go-to for a cocktail-forward night out, garage doors thrown open to the patio when the weather's right. The Ketel Hill is built on Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom Vodka, topped with soda and muddled strawberry, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup, finished with a lemon wheel. Light, floral, and easy to drink more than one of, which, given the half-price happy hour, is dangerously convenient.
Hit happy hour, 3–6 p.m. weekdays, for half off the whole menu.
Tucci’s - Lemon Wildberry Spritz
Tucci’s all-seasons room has quietly become one of the prettiest places in Historic Dublin to spend a summer evening, and their cocktail list backs up. The Lemon Wildberry Spritz limoncello, house berry syrup, lemon juice, and a top of prosecco, is bright, bubbly, and exactly what a warm-weather drink should be. Need a backup order for the table? The Tucci Tini (blueberry vodka, lemon, ginger) is the other crowd-pleaser worth flagging.
Pair it with the whipped ricotta dip and call it an early dinner.
VASO Rooftop Lounge – Songbird

Eight floors above Bridge Park, with the Scioto River unspooling below and downtown Dublin glowing in the distance, VASO's rooftop is the kind of view that makes you forget you're still technically on a Tuesday. The drink to order: The Songbird, built with Watershed 4 Peel gin and Watershed vodka, green apple shrub, mango nectar, celery, and a hit of cardamom. It's crisp, a little garden-fresh, and a little tropical all at once, basically the flavor version of a perfect summer evening.
Pro tip: rent a cabana if you're coming with a group — sunset slots go fast on weekends.
Palm Valley Cocktails – The Peachy Keen
Tucked into Bridge Park, Palm Valley Cocktails brings a mid-century desert-resort vibe to Dublin, think retro-modern decor and a cocktail list to match. The Peachy Keen is built with peach-infused soju, Noble Cut limoncello, hot honey, bitter lemon soda, club soda, and shiso, for a drink that's sweet, a little spicy, and herbal in the best way. It's basically a Palm Springs vacation, minus the flight.
Go early to grab a patio seat before the after-work crowd rolls in.
Getaway Brewing – Weekend Jaunt

For something a little more "vacation mode," head to Getaway Brewing glass-walled patio overlooking Indian Run. The order: Weekend Jaunt — Watershed Guild gin, rum, pineapple, and coconut-pandan syrup, basically a passport-free trip to the tropics in a glass. It's the most "we could be anywhere but we're so glad we're here" patio in Dublin, and if your timing's right, you can catch Tiki Tuesday, which takes over the bar on the first Tuesday of every month for even more tiki-cocktail fun.
Mark your calendar for the next Tiki Tuesday, it's a great excuse for a random Tuesday hang.
Know Before You Go
Menus, hours and happy hour specials can change seasonally, so be sure to check each restaurant’s website or social media before you visit. Many of these spots are popular on summer evenings and weekends, so reservations are recommended when available.
