Underground Discoveries
Step into 90 years of adventure as you explore the fascinating limestone tunnels of Olentangy Caverns. With a self-guided tour, families can wander at their own pace, discovering secret passageways, underground rooms, and intriguing rock formations. Seven audio stations and educational plaques share the caverns’ rich history, once a shelter and meeting place for the Wyandot tribe and later rediscovered and opened to the public in 1935.
The cave is accessible only by a 58-step stairwell, and while the walkways are cemented for safety, the natural dampness means non-slip shoes are a must! Whether your little ones are embarking on their first caving adventure or diving into Ohio’s rich history, this underground journey will spark curiosity and excitement.

- All-Access Passes are not sold within 3-hours of closing time so arrive early to make the most of your experience!
