There’s something special about spring in Dublin, Ohio. As the days grow longer and the city’s abundant green spaces come back to life, April offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and the community. In Dublin, Earth Month isn’t just a moment on the calendar; it’s a reflection of the city’s deep commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship and preserving the natural beauty that defines our community.
Make a Difference at Sustainable Saturday

Saturday, April 11, 8am – 1pm
Dublin Service Center, 6555 Shier Rings Road
Kick off Earth Month with purpose at Sustainable Saturday at the Dublin Service Center. This popular drop-off event makes it easy to responsibly dispose of items that don’t belong in the landfill. From household hazardous waste and old documents (securely shredded on-site) to Styrofoam packaging, e-waste and unwanted prescription medications, Sustainable Saturday helps ensure materials are properly handled, recycled or safely disposed.
It’s also an opportunity to give back. Gently used clothing, linens and small household items will be collected and donated to Goodwill, and textiles of any condition are accepted for recycling.
Beyond this event, Dublin makes sustainable living accessible year-round through 24-hour compost drop-off, Styrofoam recycling, medication collection and weekday e-waste recycling – helping divert waste and reduce landfill impact across the community.
