Explore Monthly Heritage Displays
Each month, the library curates a special display to celebrate different cultural heritages, from Black History Month and Arab American Heritage Month to Native American Heritage Month and more. These displays feature thoughtfully selected books and resources designed for all ages and reading levels, making it easy for families and individuals alike to learn, reflect and celebrate diversity together.
Reserve Free Meeting Rooms
If you need a space for a small gathering, business meeting, or collaborative project, the Dublin Branch offers meeting rooms that are completely free to reserve, all you need is a library card. You can book a room up to 90 days in advance and hold up to five reservations per month at each location. These rooms go fast, so it’s smart to reserve early. Plus, you’re welcome to bring prepared food and non-alcoholic beverages, making them perfect for longer sessions or lunch-and-learns.
Pick Up Themed Grab & Go Youth Book Bundles
Busy parents, this one’s for you. The library offers pre-selected book bundles for young readers, grouped by fun and engaging themes like dinosaurs, dogs, sports and more. These bundles are a lifesaver if your child is obsessed with a certain topic, you can skip the search and grab a curated stack that’s ready to go. The themes are refreshed throughout the year to match seasons, holidays and life transitions, so there’s always something new to discover.
English Conversation Tables
Tuesdays from 6p-7p & Thursdays from 3p-4p
For those learning English, the Dublin Branch hosts English Conversation Tables every Tuesday and Thursday. These welcoming, drop-in sessions are designed for all ability levels and feature rotating conversation themes that help participants build vocabulary and improve grammar. It’s a low-pressure way to gain confidence in speaking while meeting others on the same journey.
Connect with Crafters at Knitting in the Neighborhood
Every Other Monday | 6:30p-8p
Looking to unwind with fellow creatives? Every other Monday evening, the library hosts Knitting in the Neighborhood, a casual meetup where you can bring your knitting, crocheting, or other craft projects and chat with like-minded makers. This isn’t a structured class, so there’s no pressure to be an expert. While some supplies are provided, bringing your own is encouraged and no registration is needed. Just drop in and stitch away.
Get Homework Support at the School Help Center
Monday-Thursday from 3:30p-6:30p & Fridays from 3p-6p | Only Available During the School Year
During the school year, students can stop by the School Help Center for free homework aid. Staffed by knowledgeable volunteers, it’s open Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m. It’s a great resource for kids who need a little extra help understanding assignments or staying on top of their studies.

While these six programs are standouts, the Dublin Branch is full of other features that make it a destination in its own right. Outside, you’ll spot a giant orange snail sculpture called Dwelling: A Snail’s Journey from the Dublin Arts Council, with mini snails hidden throughout the library. It’s also a stop on the Irish Fairy Door Trail, adding a bit of magic to your visit.
