VISIT VETERANS PARK
Located in Historic Dublin along India Run you’ll find Dublin Veterans Park, a lasting tribute to the men and women who have served our country in war and peace. Take a closer look into what makes this park so special.
While the park may only take up an acre of land, you’ll come across multiple spots to take a moment and reflect on the sacrifices made by those who have served.
Recognition Walk: The Recognition Walk features 500 dedication stones to honor Veterans. Each stone is engraved with the Veteran's name, branch of service, and dates of service.
Loggia: The Loggia is a ceremonial area with the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson inscribed on its walls: "The brave die never, though they sleep in dust: Their courage nerves a thousand living men."
Sycamore Grove: The Sycamore Grove recognizes major contributors to the building of the park.
Memory Wall: The Memory Wall holds personal messages of thanks to Veterans.
Dedication Wall: The Dedication Wall pays tribute to the five branches of service.
To show the City of Dublin’s appreciation all year, Veterans can receive a Veteran Appreciation Card with exclusive access benefits to enjoy and share with their friends and family. Apply for your card here.
