Schools are out for the year, and temperatures are on the rise. Summer is on the horizon, and Zoombezi Bay, one of Dublin's largest attractions, is ready to help you beat the heat! From a brand-new entrance to a calendar full of events, you won't want to spend your summer anywhere else.
Here's what's new at Zoombezi Bay this summer:
New Attractions
Conservation Tower: Opening June 2025, this all-new attraction features three epic water slides—including two world’s firsts and one Midwest exclusive—all in one tower. Each slide delivers a unique, conservation-inspired adventure with thrilling drops, twists, and raft rides you won’t find anywhere else.
Coral Kitchen: A vibrant new dining option debuting near Baboon Lagoon and Croctail Creek. Coral Kitchen offers fast, fresh eats with self-service kiosks and shaded seating—bringing flavorful convenience to your day at the Bay, all with a name chosen by fans.
Other Updates
Cashless Payments: New for 2025, Zoombezi Bay has gone fully cashless to enhance convenience and security for guests. Visitors can convert cash to a no-fee pre-paid Mastercard at machines near the ticket building and Sea Star Sundries, usable throughout the park and anywhere Mastercard is accepted.
Sunshine Guarantee: Don’t let the weather dampen your day—Zoombezi Bay’s Sunshine Guarantee allows eligible guests to return for a future visit if weather cuts their trip short. Qualifying conditions include early park closures or ride shutdowns over 60 minutes due to inclement weather.
Extended Summer Hours: From July 5 through August 2, the park will stay open until 8 p.m. daily. This guest-driven update gives everyone more time to soak up the sun, splash in the waves, and make the most of summer fun.
Events Galore
Summer's never boring at Zoombezi Bay! The 2025 season offers an action-packed lineup of family-friendly events such as:
Waterpark After Dark: On June 20 & 28 and August 8 & 29, guests 21+ can experience Zoombezi Bay after hours from 8 p.m. to midnight. Select water attractions stay open under the stars, creating a fun and social adults-only evening presented by G&J Pepsi.
Summer Nights – Dive-In Movie Series: From June 27 to July 25 on select Fridays, the park extends hours until 10 p.m. for family-friendly entertainment and Dive-In Movies on the jumbo screen at Wild Tides Wave Pool. Films begin at dusk and attractions stay open through the show.

World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™: On June 26 from 9:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., children ages 2–12 can participate in a free, 30-minute swimming lesson as part of a global water safety campaign. Registration includes all-day access to Zoombezi Bay and the Columbus Zoo. Free for Season Pass Holders.
Quiet After Hours: On August 22 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Zoombezi Bay offers a sensory-friendly experience for guests with sensory sensitivities. Music will be turned off, attendance limited, and sensory kits available at Guest Relations. Reservations are required.
Oktoberfest at Zoombezi Bay: Celebrate the fall season on August 30–31 and September 1, 6, and 7 with Bavarian-style food, pumpkin and fall-flavored beers, live German music, and seasonal family fun. Enjoy your favorite water attractions alongside festive autumn flair.
