We all love the Dublin Link Bridge that holds the title as the longest, single span, S-shaped suspension bridge in the world (say that five times fast) and the Field of Corn that surprises travelers as they pass 109 6-foot ears of cement corn, but today we’re taking you to visit places that embody the phrase “If you know, you know”. These under-the-radar spots won’t be topping Google search or TripAdvisor rankings anytime soon. These hidden gems are unique to Dublin, Ohio and make the perfect backdrop for cool photos that no one else will have.

Check out these 5 hidden gems in Dublin, Ohio.

1. Dog Topiary Park

Dog Topiary Park

We love our pups in Dublin, and we’ve got statues made out of plants to prove it! Just behind Bridge Park on the corner of Dale Dr. and Tuller Ridge Dr. you’ll find Archie the Beagle, Otto the German Shepard, Tuller the Lab, Brigid the Saint Bernard and Pierre the French Bulldog. Created by Brian Kocher, Greenhouse Manager at Franklin Park Conservatory, these not so furry friends are made mostly out of moss and have found their forever home in Downtown Dublin. Take your dog or kids for a playful picture with these little guys. There are plenty of benches and nearby restaurants and things to do, so make a dog-gone good day in Dublin out of it. 2. Fairy Garden in Historic Dublin

Toy Emporium Fairy Garden

While strolling the quaint brick-lined streets of historic Dublin you’ll find locally owned shops, restaurants and businesses that operate in the spots where Dublin got its start. The buildings on the National Register of Historic Places all have their own charm, but if you look closely between the Dublin Toy Emporium (28 N High St) and Paris 75/The French Store (24 N High St), you’ll find a pocket of magic. In the small courtyard between businesses, you’ll find a whimsical fairy garden mural that surrounds you with playful colors and florals when you take a step in.  On the ground you’ll find fairy-sized items like tea sets and pirate ships that the business owners and visitors have left for the next viewers. Snap a photo and take some time to see what’s in this man-made garden. The magic doesn’t have to stop there – take on the Fairy Door Trail and visit several businesses in Downtown Dublin who house their own fairy doors and win a free t-shirt when you find them all.

3. Wendy’s Flagship Store

Wendy's Flagship Community Room

Known for their sassy responses on X (formerly Twitter), the Wendy’s Company calls Dublin, Ohio home. With Wendy’s corporate headquarters just steps from Bridge Park, you’ll find more than just a fast-food restaurant at the Wendy’s Flagship Store near Downtown Dublin. Before entering you’ll be greeted by none other than Dave Thomas. Well, a life-sized bronze statue of Wendy’s founder, Dave Thomas. Step inside and find a one-of-a-kind Community Room dedicated to all things Wendy’s. From the “Where’s the Beef” ad materials and original Wendy’s uniforms to the 1996 Olympic torch Dave Thomas carried through the area and even a Waterford Crystal hamburger. It’s quite the stop for food and history lovers alike. Grab a frosty and get to know the Flagship Wendy’s here.

4. Skrim Pocket Park at Bridge Park

Bridge Park Scrim

Between Intown Golf and the Theodore parking garage you’ll find a tucked away pocket park that will transport you to a scenic outdoor oasis without leaving the city. The parking garage is covered by a large skrim with photography by Rick Braveheart, a veteran landscape photographer and Native American who has a deep appreciation for the beauty and power of nature. The park offers ample seating for a picnic or just a quiet moment with your picture-perfect Matcha and snack from the window of Milky Way Matcha (a hidden gem in itself). Upon entrance, you’ll be met with a brightly colored mural on the wall. If this spot has you feeling inspired, stop by nearby Terra Gallery and Creative Studio to purchase or create your own masterpiece.

5. Boulder Path in Riverside Crossing Park

Boulder Path River view

Find the epitome of calming nature meets urban experience on this unnamed and unmarked path. What we like to call the “Boulder Path” is just as it sounds, a path leading to the Scioto River made of giant rocks. While the path itself is lovely, the view you’ll find at the bottom is second to none. It’s the perfect spot to see the Dublin Link bridge from below and the sprawling shoreline of the Scioto. You may even be met by some wildlife while taking in this picturesque spot. To find the park we recommend walking North from the Dublin Link along the path closest to the river. Keep your eyes peeled for an opening in the tree line. The exact spot can be found here
