Masai Giraffe Calf

A precious baby Masai giraffe has arrived and he’s already on his feet, melting hearts. Born to mom Zuri, this little guy is a big step for conservation and a must-see on your next zoo visit!
Amur Tigers

Say hello to Lewis and Clark! These playful Amur tiger brothers just arrived at the Columbus Zoo and are settling into their new home. It’s an exciting moment for this endangered species and a sight you won’t want to miss.
Asian Elephant Calves

Double the excitement! Two Asian elephant calves have arrived, a first in the Zoo’s history. These tiny giants are already standing, exploring, and stealing hearts, marking a huge win for conservation.

Adventure Nights

Friday and Saturday nights just got an upgrade! From June 26–July 25, Adventure Nights brings after-hours fun to the Columbus Zoo’s Adventure Cove. Enjoy music, movies, and rides under the lights from 6–10 p.m. Best of all, it’s free to attend, with optional discounted access to Zoombezi Bay for even more summer fun!

Lantern Festival
August 20 - October 25
The Lantern Festival is set to illuminate the Zoo with more than 70 sets of stunning LED lantern displays, featuring brilliantly lit animal scenes that captivate and inspire. Multicolored LED animal lanterns will illuminate paths throughout various areas of the Zoo, creating an unforgettable experience.
Boo at The Zoo
Weekends, October 3-25
Put on your best costume and get spooky with the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium for Boo at the Zoo. Have fun without the fright on Tommy C. Turtle's Trick or Treat Trail, and dance the night away at the Halloween Hullabaloo featuring all your favorite zoo friends.
