Top 10 Scenic Parks for a Picnic:

Staff Picks:

Sara Blatnik: Bridge Park Pocket Park (Between Bridge Park Ave & Mooney Parking Garage)

"Located in the middle of the vibrant Bridge Park area, this pocket park has permanent tables and chairs perfect for a more modern, less grassy picnic. You won't have to go far as this spot is located minutes from several popular restaurants offering takeout and is near several free parking garages for easy access. Pro Tip: Once you've finished your meal, stop by Kilwins for a sweet treat to go! I reccomend the chocolate covered oreos."

Katie Rich: Indian Run Falls

"Nestled in the mature woods where Native Americans once camped, wander along the overlook trail to find two different shelters that have picnic tables. Enjoy your picnic then explore the gravel trail that connects to Downtown Dublin and plentiful parking at the Dublin Library. Pro Tip: Sidewalks connect this spot to Metro Place making it a great work day lunchtime destination."

Josh Bricker: Pedestrian Bridge/West Plaza

"Enjoy the best view of the new Dublin Link pedestrian bridge on one side and the beautiful new Dublin library on the other.  This is a lively spot which makes it great to enjoy a quick bite and people watch at the same time.  Pro Tip:  After enjoying your meal, treat yourself to a scoop (or two) at Johnson’s Real Ice Cream shop."

Scott Dring: Dublin Springs Park

"A secluded and peaceful getaway on the Scioto River. Features a great Gazebo with seating on the River and you can even experience some history with Dublin’s First Natural Spring. Pro Tip: There is limited parking so park on S. High Street and walk down to the park."
